20 years ago, Natalio Sturla, left Gilbert, a town 50km from the city of Gualeguaychu, in the province of Entre Ríos. With dreams of philosophy, at 18 his walking stopped first in Paraná and then disembarked in the city of La Plata, where the idea of expressing himself through the accordion returned to stay. “I incorporated it from a very young age, and since then when I need to express myself, music and accordion are my main tools”

Natalio Sturla is an accordionist, composer and teacher. It presents a repertoire of own compositions that investigate the extensive and rich musical history of the coastal region (whose main music is the chamamé), creating a personal sound expression linked to the streams, the tajamares, the mountain and the hills, elements that compose The entrerriano landscape. Chamamé is a music present in a wide geographical region that covers the Northeast of Argentina, southern Brazil and the borders with Paraguay and Uruguay. The musical proposal addresses this repertoire of own compositions from the accordion and the guitar. Instrumental themes predominate, transiting imbricated rhythms in a plot of melodies that seek through a few sounds to send a distant canoe over the river or drizzle falling on a tajamar. The project has the participation of guitarist Julián Fregonese.
